Geraldine Solon
Isabelle is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) in the United States and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). She is an Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)-certified therapist and an EMDR consultant-in-training. Isabelle is a Registered Play Therapist™ and works with children (3 to 10 years), teens, and adults of all ages. Her specialities include EMDR and play therapy.
Isabelle’s specialized training and credentials in EMDR and play therapy has allowed her to adeptly integrate both therapeutic approaches to treat clients experiencing attachment issues, adverse events, anxiety, depression, divorce, grief and loss, relational challenges, and trauma.
Isabelle’s clinical mental health counselling training and clinical practice in the United States has broadened her worldview and has enabled her to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and nationalities through a multicultural lens. She has worked in school settings (elementary through college/university), hospitals, not-for-profit domestic violence agencies, and private practice.
Fun-loving, curious, insightful, personable, playful, and nurturing, Isabelle has a profound love for helping and appreciates each client’s tenacity and strengths. When Isabelle isn’t in her office, she enjoys painting, yoga, reading, spending time with family, and petting her terrapin.
